Message from the President

Our company originated as Kawaguchi Chemical Laboratory in December 1935.
In 1937, the company was reorganized into present-day Kawaguchi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.
Since our founding, we have carried out our business, consisting of research, manufacture, and supply of organic sulfur compounds, with a focus on rubber chemicals, thanks to the support of our customers and many others. In recent years, we have refined the technology and techniques we have cultivated to expand our business domains into a wide range of fields outside of rubber chemical products including electronics materials, pharmaceutical intermediates, environmental chemicals, resin chemicals, and more.
The average person probably doesn't have much familiarity with "rubber chemicals". However, without these additives, it would not be possible to maximize the potential and functionality of rubber products such as tires, and so our company operates in accord with our social responsibility to "supply essential products".

On verse of our company song states, "the evolution of technology is like an ever-flowing river", and it is in this spirit that we continually focus on the implementation of research and development activities so that our company may also always continue to evolve and progress.

Although our company scale is relatively small, we strive to remain a company which contributes to society by delivering as many added value products that provide something not available elsewhere as possible in a global niche market, so I ask and thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
